Red Kidney Bean Burgers

Hearty, vegetarian burgers made with Lioncroft Red Kidney Beans. Packed with flavour and perfect for grilling.

Ingredients

  • 1 can (400g) Lioncroft Red Kidney Beans, drained
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp Lioncroft Ground Cumin
  • 1 tsp Lioncroft Paprika
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lioncroft Sunflower Oil for cooking
  • Burger buns and toppings for serving
1. Mash the drained kidney beans coarsely in a bowl.
2. Add breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, cumin, paprika, egg, salt and pepper.
3. Mix well until the mixture holds together.
4. Shape into burger patties.
5. Heat oil in a pan and cook patties for 4-5 minutes per side until golden and crispy.
6. Assemble in burger buns with your favorite toppings.

🍽️ Serving Suggestion

Serve in buns with lettuce, tomato, cheese and condiments.
