Plum Chutney with Walnuts

A sweet, tangy chutney made with Lioncroft Dried Plums and walnuts. Perfect with cheese or cold meats.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Lioncroft Dried Plums, pitted and chopped
  • ½ cup walnuts, chopped
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • ½ tsp Lioncroft Ginger Powder
  • ½ tsp Lioncroft Cinnamon Powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • ½ cup water
1. In a saucepan, combine plums, sugar, vinegar, onion, ginger, cinnamon, salt and water.
2. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
3. The mixture should thicken and plums should break down.
4. Stir in chopped walnuts.
5. Let cool and store in a clean jar.

🍽️ Serving Suggestion

Serve with cheese platters, crackers or as a condiment with roasted meats.
