Pickle Butter Naan

Soft, buttery naan brushed with Lioncroft Mixed Pickle butter. A flavourful twist on classic naan bread. Serves: 6 people Total cooking time: 2 hours 30 minutes

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup plain yogurt
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp baking soda
  • Salt to taste
  • Warm water as needed
  • 3 tbsp butter, melted
  • 2 tbsp Lioncroft Mixed Pickle, finely chopped
  • Fresh coriander, chopped
1. Mix flour, yogurt, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
2. Knead into a soft dough using warm water. Rest for 2 hours, covered.
3. Divide dough into balls and roll into oval shapes.
4. Heat a griddle or tawa and cook each naan until bubbles appear.
5. Flip and cook the other side.
6. Mix melted butter with chopped pickle.
7. Brush generously over hot naans.
8. Garnish with coriander.

Serve hot with any curry or dal.
