| 1. Clean and pat dry the fish fillets. |
| 2. Mix pickle paste, ginger powder, garlic powder, turmeric and salt. |
| 3. Coat fish pieces with this marinade and rest for 20 minutes. |
| 4. Dust marinated fish lightly with rice flour. |
| 5. Heat oil in a pan and shallow fry fish until golden and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side. |
| 6. Drain on paper towels. |
Serve hot with lemon wedges, sliced onions and mint chutney.
