Lime Pickle Fried Fish

Crispy fried fish marinated with tangy Lioncroft Lime Pickle. Bold, zesty and perfect for seafood lovers. Serves: 4 people Total cooking time: 30 minutes

Ingredients

  • 500g fish fillets (any firm white fish)
  • 2 tbsp Lioncroft Lime Pickle, blended into paste
  • 1 tsp Lioncroft Ginger Powder
  • 1 tsp Lioncroft Garlic Powder
  • ½ tsp Lioncroft Turmeric Powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 3 tbsp rice flour or cornflour
  • Lioncroft Sunflower Oil for frying
  • Lemon wedges for serving
1. Clean and pat dry the fish fillets.
2. Mix pickle paste, ginger powder, garlic powder, turmeric and salt.
3. Coat fish pieces with this marinade and rest for 20 minutes.
4. Dust marinated fish lightly with rice flour.
5. Heat oil in a pan and shallow fry fish until golden and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side.
6. Drain on paper towels.

🍽️ Serving Suggestion

Serve hot with lemon wedges, sliced onions and mint chutney.
