Lamb Balti

Tender lamb balti made with Lioncroft Balti Paste. Rich, hearty and perfect for special occasions.

Ingredients

  • 500g lamb, cubed
  • 3 tbsp Lioncroft Balti Paste
  • 2 tbsp Lioncroft Sunflower Oil
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tomatoes, chopped
  • 1½ cups water
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh coriander, chopped
1. Heat oil in a balti pan or wok over high heat.
2. Add onion and garlic, stir-frying until golden.
3. Add lamb pieces and sear until browned.
4. Stir in balti paste and cook for 2 minutes.
5. Add tomatoes and cook for 5 minutes.
6. Pour in water, season with salt and bring to a boil.
7. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 45-50 minutes until lamb is tender.
8. Garnish with fresh coriander.

🍽️ Serving Suggestion

Serve hot with naan or rice.
