Fenugreek Aloo

Simple, flavourful potato curry with Lioncroft Fenugreek Seeds. Quick and perfect as a side dish.

Ingredients

  • 4 medium potatoes, cubed
  • 2 tbsp Lioncroft Sunflower Oil
  • 1 tsp Lioncroft Fenugreek Seeds
  • 1 tsp Lioncroft Cumin Seeds
  • 1 tsp Lioncroft Turmeric Powder
  • 1 tsp Lioncroft Ground Coriander
  • ½ tsp red chilli powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh coriander, chopped
1. Heat oil in a pan and add fenugreek seeds and cumin seeds.
2. When they splutter, add cubed potatoes.
3. Stir in turmeric, coriander, chilli powder and salt.
4. Mix well to coat potatoes.
5. Cover and cook on low heat for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until potatoes are tender.
6. Garnish with fresh coriander.

🍽️ Serving Suggestion

Serve hot with roti, puri or paratha.
