A fragrant, mildly sweet rice dish made with Lioncroft Dried Plums. Aromatic and unique, perfect for special occasions or weeknight variety.
| 1.Rinse the basmati rice until water runs clear and soak for 15 minutes. |
| 2.Heat oil in a pan and fry the sliced onion until golden brown. |
| 3.Add cumin and turmeric, stirring for 30 seconds. |
| 4.Add the chopped dried plums and stir for 1 minute. |
| 5.Drain the rice and add to the pan, stirring gently to coat. |
| 6.Pour in water and add salt. |
| 7.Bring to a boil, then reduce heat, cover and simmer for 15 minutes until rice is cooked and water is absorbed. |
| 8.Fluff with a fork and garnish with coriander. |
Serve warm with raita, curry or grilled meats.
