A sweet and tangy chutney made with Lioncroft Dried Dates. Perfect as a condiment with snacks and meals.
| 1.In a saucepan, combine chopped dates, vinegar, sugar, cumin, chilli powder, salt and water. |
| 2.Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 10–12 minutes until dates are soft and the mixture thickens. |
| 3.Mash lightly with a spoon or blend for a smoother texture. |
| 4.Stir in chopped nuts. |
| 5.Let cool and store in a clean jar. |
Serve with samosas, pakoras, sandwiches or as a spread on toast.
