Ajwain Potato Fry

Simple, spiced potatoes tossed with Lioncroft Ajwain Seeds. Quick, flavourful and perfect as a side dish.

Ingredients

  • 3 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 2 tbsp Lioncroft Sunflower Oil
  • 1 tsp Lioncroft Ajwain Seeds
  • ½ tsp Lioncroft Turmeric Powder
  • ½ tsp red chilli powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh coriander, chopped
1.Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
2.Add ajwain seeds and let them sizzle for 30 seconds.
3.Add the cubed potatoes, turmeric, chilli powder and salt.
4.Toss well to coat the potatoes evenly.
5.Cover and cook on low-medium heat for 15–20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until potatoes are golden and cooked through.
6.Garnish with fresh coriander.

🍽️ Serving Suggestion

Serve hot as a side dish with dal, rice or roti.
